POLICE have confirmed cash was stolen from Barclays on Ely High Street on Wednesday night.
The bank is now fully re-open and police are examining CCTV footage from the branch – results are expected tomorrow (Friday).
A police spokeswoman said officers were unable to confirm at this point exactly how offenders entered the building and confirmed that “a small amount of cash is thought to have been taken.”
