FORMER Soham man Lawrence Cardwell is to face trial next month, after denying that he assaulted a police officer and a woman in Ely.
Cardwell, 20, who now has an address in Lancashire, has denied assaulting PC Radford and Nicola Barton on August 18. His trial will take place on November 30, and on Thursday he was remanded in custody by Ely magistrates.
