DETECTIVES are appealing for information after two masked men broke into a home and demanded cash.
Dressed in black and wearing balaclavas, the men smashed their way through the back door of the house in The Crescent, Dullingham, at about 11pm on Tuesday (October 6).
One of them struck a man, aged in his 40s, over the head. He was later taken to hospital for treatment.
The intruders then threatened another of the occupants before fleeing empty-handed.
Police are keen to trace a white van seen heading away from the incident shortly afterwards.
DS Adi Bowman, who is investigating the incident, said: “This must have been a terrifying experience for the family who were in their own home at the time. I would appeal to anyone with any information, or who saw this white van leaving the area around the time of this incident, to contact police.”
INFO: Anyone with any information should call DC Paul Atkinson on 0345 456 456 4, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
