POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a lorry was in collision with a teenage girl in Little Thetford.

The 15-year-old remains in a critical condition at Addenbrooke’s Hospital following the collision on the A10 at the junction with Red Fen Road at 7.40am yesterday (Monday).

Sergeant Chris Clare, investigating, said: “This was a busy stretch of road and I’m sure other drivers and pedestrians will have seen what happened.

“I would appeal to anyone who saw the collision or either the girl or vehicle prior to the incident to contact police.”

Anyone with any information should call Sgt Clare on 0345 456 456 4 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
