ELY Library is celebrating National Poetry Day on October 4 by hosting a poetry and coffee morning.
Local poets will be reading poems on the theme of Dreams and visitors can listen to the performances or read a poem of their own choice.
Refreshments will be available during the event between 10.30am and 12.30pm courtesy of the Friends of Ely Library.
Anyone wishing to join in and read their own poem or to perform a favourite piece can contact senior county council librarian Sylvia Voaden on 01353 741229, or by e-mail at: Sylvia.voaden@cambridgeshire.gov.uk or simply turn up on the day.
