A Soham primary school has raised £12,000 for new playground equipment to support children in getting active.
St Andrews CofE, in Sand Street, has seen the new trim trail installed from funds gained by PTA events and donations from local businesses since January.
A summer fair, pop up shop, lolly Fridays, games night and cake breaks have been among the fundraising ideas.
Geoff Hobbs, Jak Hibs and JRD Rubber Mouldings all helped out, as well as £1000 from the Tesco bags for help scheme and £270 from Waitrose community matters.
A school spokesperson said: “We are so pleased we could provide the children of the school some much needed play equipment for all of them to enjoy, while having fun along the way.
“We are going to continue with the fundraising this year, with the support from the parents, staff and outside community and businesses to add even more equipment outside.”
