A resident had asked why only plastic bottles could be recycled at the Arkenstall Centre when other areas of the country are able to recycle all types of plastic. There are different grades of plastic and at present there is only one outlet in this area for the grade used in the bottles. The district council is continually looking for outlets for other grades but at present there are none.
