PLANNING applications received included the installation of security bollards to protect a shop front at 20 High Street. It was noted that the position of the bollards had been moved to the rear of the pavement and it is hoped this will enable clear passage of motorised wheelchairs, children's buggies etc. Details had been circulated of the consultative procedure regarding the Local Development Framework. It was felt that a response from the parish council should await a report from the LFD meeting held on May 31. However, individual responses from the parishioners should be encouraged. Details of the LFD proposals, including locations of the exhibitions staged by ECDC should be circulated within the parish and put on the website.
