PENSIONER Patrick Hessian has denied that he threatened to blow up premises used by a young persons' project in Wheatsheaf Close, Ely.
Sixty-year-old Hessian appeared at Ely courthouse on Thursday, when his case was adjourned until July 19, for the date of his trial to be set.
It is alleged that between December 1, 2005, and December 27 last year, Hessian, of 18 Wheatsheaf Close, Ely, threatened that he would cause an explosion at premises belonging to Cambridge Housing Assoc-iation, intending that occu-pants and staff would fear that the threat would be carried out.
As a condition of his bail, Ely magistrates told Hessian he must not contact either staff or residents of the young persons' project.
