ELY fire-fighter, Paul Human, has blazed a fund-raising trail around the region, cycling 305 miles in just four days.
Paul, of Mervyn Drive, who works for the fire service at RAF Alconbury, joined six other fire-fighters for the Tour of the Fire East Challenge.
A member of the Mid Anglia Cycling Club, Paul 37, raised more than £300 and the group hopes to raise a total of £5,000 for a new national fire therapy service which could be built in Cambridgeshire.
The new centre, the third of its kind in the country, is planned by the Fire Service National Benevolent Fund which hopes work could begin next year and the centre opened in 2010.
