THERE have been on-going problems and complaints about parking on grass areas in Linden Way and there are also similar problems in Cherry Orchard and other areas. A communication had been received from the district council advising that with the problems encountered in obtaining any evidence it is in a difficult position to enforce against the offenders. With this in mind the district council feels that it would not be useful to take any further steps at this time. Cllr Gareth Wilson reported that Witchford is facing similar problems and a questionnaire has been issued to residents with various options on how the situation can be tackled. The parish council agreed to await the outcome of this consultation and then consider if it would be worthwhile carrying out a similar exercise in Haddenham.
