Correspondence: A letter had been received from Countryside Alliance urging the parish council to write to Jim Fitzpatrick MP regarding cuts and closures of rural Post Offices. A letter will be sent outlining the importance of Haddenham Post Office and all other rural post offices to their communities.

An invitation had been received for councillors to attend "The Big 10" Talent Show 2006 at Witchford on December 1. The show will include some members of the newly-formed Haddenham Youth Club.

There are further issues with the recycling banks, in particular the cans and bottles, which are not being emptied regularly enough to keep up with the demand. Cllr Gareth Wilson will speak to the district council about this. There are also bags of household rubbish being dumped near the banks, which are not for recycling and the council would ask residents to ensure that this type of rubbish is disposed of in the correct manner.
