The company which operates Paradise Pools in Ely is celebrating having won a top award for the second year running.
Everyone Active, which operates the leisure centre on behalf of East Cambridgeshire District Council, was named operator of the year at the ukactive and Matrix Flame Awards.
It’s the fifth time the leisure operator has won the title, having won the award last year and on three consecutive occasions in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
Everyone Active, which will celebrate its 30th birthday later this year, now manages more than 150 leisure facilities and cultural services across the country.
The Flame Awards “recognise leisure centres, health clubs, group operators and individuals that have demonstrated exceptional standards” said a spokesman.
