ON June 16, chairman May Gillett welcomed members to the Over-Sixties Club.
The club song was sung. The 49 Club winner was B Lambert, who received £40.
The competition was 'the first rose of summer', judged by Mavis Blackmore and the entertainment for the afternoon was bingo.
Mrs Newton and Mrs Peacock were in charge of teas.
At the next meeting, there will be a buffet and the entertainer will be Mark Christie.
We are always looking for new members. Meetings are on alternate Fridays, commencing at 2pm at the village hall. Please feel free to call in without obligation. A warm welcome is assured. Annual fee is £4.
