Members were greeted by vice-chairman Ruth Ginn on Friday. Peggy Gibbon told members the speaker was unable to come to the meeting, so an afternoon of bingo was quickly arranged. Betty Lanagan called the numbers for several games of bingo. Peggy reminded members who were booked to go on the holiday to Weymouth that it was now time to pay for the trip. Tickets for the St George's luncheon were on sale and were £3 for members and £10 for non-members. A mystery tour has been arranged for Friday, May 11, £9 which includes lunch. The ladies served refreshments and Ruth organised the raffle thanking members for their contributions. The club hymn ended the meeting.
