MEMBERS of the Over-60s Club met in the Walter Gidney Pavilion on Friday afternoon. Mrs Murfitt welcomed everyone and Mrs Gibbon gave out the announcements. Vera Seal was the compere for the afternoon's musical entertainment. Myrtle Fordham was given a warm welcome to the club and accompanied the ladies at the piano for the musical numbers.

Readings were given by Betty Lanagan, Ruth Ginn, Bill Estell, and Yvonne Long. Gwen Bridgeman sang two solos. Also, taking part were Sheila Knight and Margaret Clayton.

To bring the afternoon to a close the members joined in the singing of some old favourites. Mrs Kent thanked the group for a lovely afternoon's entertainment. Refreshments were served and Mrs Seal organised the raffle. The afternoon was brought to a close with the singing of the club hymn.
