Mrs Murfitt welcomed everyone to the meeting on Friday. P Gibbon gave out the announcements before handing over to Vera Seal. Vera was very pleased to welcome Greta Randal (pianist) and the Circuit Ladies. Everyone enjoyed an excellent programme of singing, readings and humerous tales by the group. Taking part were: Betty Reeve (compere), Phyliss Plunkett, Pam Larner (soloist) Linda Chandler and Arlene King. Vera thanked them for a lovely afternoon's entertainment. During the afternoon Mrs Lannagan collected the money for the forth-coming lunch and names were taken for the outings to Yarmouth and Eastbourne. Vera organised the raffle and the ladies served the refreshments. The meeting was brought to a close with the singing of the club hymn. accompanied at the piano by Mrs G Randal.
