MRS Murfitt welcomed everyone to the meeting on May 19. Mrs Gibbon gave out the announcements, reminding members of the celebration lunch on June 19, from noon until 4.30pm. Tickets are still available from Mrs Gibbon. During the afternoon, the money was collected for the forthcoming outing to Yarmouth. Games of bingo were played with Mrs B Lannagan calling the numbers and Jean Peacock and Jean Wells checking the cards. The gentlemen played cards in the adjoining room. Refreshments were served and there was a raffle. The meeting was brought to a close with the singing of the club hymn.
