On February 24, chairman May Gillett welcomed members to the Over-60s Club.

The club song was sung and birthday chocolates given out to those members celebrating their birthday this month.

49-club winner was Mrs Barnes who received £40.

Competition was a mug, judged by Mrs Spriggs. Next competition will be small clock.

Mrs Spriggs provided the entertainment for the afternoon.

Next meeting, the entertainment will be the Marshland Singers.

Mrs Frost and Mrs Griffiths served teas and Mrs Fox and Mrs Manthorpe will be responsible for teas next meeting.

Members who attended the Doddington Show said they enjoyed it very much.

Members are reminded about the Old Time Music Hall on March 21 held at the Village Hall commencing 7pm. Price £4, which includes a light supper. Non-members are welcome to attend.

Thanks go to John and Tom who have been putting out chairs and tables for many years. As John will be away for two months and Tom feels unable to carry on, help would be most appreciated.
