MEMBERS of the Over-60s Club met in the Walter Gidney Pavilion on Friday. Mrs Gibbon was pleased to welcome the Rev Alan Ashton to demonstrate flower arranging. As always, Rev Ashton never fails to amuse his audience with his tales about the flowers and greenery he uses in his demonstrations. An excellent afternoon and beautiful flower arrangements which he donated to the raffle. Mrs Gibbon thanked him on behalf of the members. Mrs Seal organised the raffle and refreshments were served by the ladies. Members were reminded of the celebration lunch on Friday, which starts at noon, and followed by entertainment. The meeting was brought to a close with the singing of the club hymn.
