AT the meeting in the church hall on May 2, 26 members watched slides of old posters, shown to us by Lionel Jackson. The posters included advertisements for Colmans mustard, Bovril, Rinso, Lux Flakes, Sunlight soap and many more. There were old postcards from Skegness and Cornwall, wartime slogans, and old pictures of Ely High Street and the Backs of Cambridge, the Round Church and the Bridge of Sighs.
Tea and biscuits were served by Joan Vail, Joan Lowe and Mary Carter.
The usual raffle took place, and the meeting closed with the club hymn
