ON Friday, February 23, chairman May Gillett welcomed members to the Over-60s Club. The club song was sung and birthday chocolate given out. The 49 Club winner was Joyce Banyard, who received £40. The competition was a bell, judged by Mrs Bowers. Next

Next competition will be something silver.
Entertainment was a choice of bingo or whist. The winners of the whist drive were John Frost and Pauline Fox.
The entertainment next time will be Mrs Spriggs, reading her own poetry.

We are always looking for new members. Meetings are on alternate Fridays, at 2pm at the village hall. Please feel free to call in without obligation. A warm welcome is assured. Annual fee is £4.
