Cecil Bristow had a great surprise as a birthday party was arranged for him. A buffet was put on by Daphne Ellwood, Jean East and Dorothy Perry. There was a toast with sherry and birthday cake. Cecil and Joan Bristow also contributed to our new water heater which was badly needed.

The usual raffle took place.

On September 27, friends from Ely and the Over-60s Club from Little Thetford joined us on a trip to Felixstowe for an enjoyable trip. Our meeting closed with the club hymn.
