TWENTY seven members of the Stretham club and nine friends from Little Thetford enjoyed a pleasant afternoon in the church hall on July 5. We had a sing-song and then a lovely tea of sandwiches, cakes and strawberries and cream, prepared and served by Daphne Ellwood, Jean East and Dorothy Perry, with members serving the teas. Birthday greetings were sung to Louise Lewin, followed by the raffle.
On June 28, friends from Little Thetford and Ely joined us on a trip to Great Yarmouth and afterwards to Gorleston and a wonderful show at the theatre.
