MEMBERS met in the Walter Gidney Pavilion on Friday, March 30. Vice-president Ruth Ginn welcomed everyone. Peggy Gibbon introduced the speaker, writer and historian Mike Petty, to the meeting. His talk was called 'vanishing Cambridgeshire' from 1904. A very informative talk accompanied by many slides of Cambridge and surrounding villages.Ruth Ginn thanked him on behalf of the members. The next meeting is on Friday, April 13. Refreshments were served and Ruth organised the raffle. The meeting was brought to a close with the singing of the club hymn.
