VICE-president Ruth Ginn welcomed members to the meeting on Friday. Vera Seal was pleased to introduce members of the Circuit Choir. Birthday greetings were sung to Betty Reeve who was also the compere for the afternoon's musical entertainment which they had called 'dancing tonight'. Everyone enjoyed a selection of songs, humorous tales and readings. Taking part were Betty Reeve, Arlene King, Linda Charnley, Pam Larner, Joy Fretwell and Greta Randall, who was the pianist. Vera Seal thanked the ladies on behalf of the members for a wonderful afternoon.
Peggy Gibbon gave out the announcements and Vera Seal organised the raffle.
The ladies served refreshments and the meeting was brought to a close with the singing of the club hymn.
