SENTENCING of Sutton man Robert Smith has been adjourned for three weeks, so he can be assessed for a drug rehabilitation programme.
Smith, 34, of Ryemanmoor Drive, has admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance or an MoT certificate on the A142 at Witchford on February 24.
Case adjourned
TWO allegations of witness intimidation facing Ely man John Alps were adjourned until April 13 by city magistrates on Thursday.
Alps, 50, of Egremont Street, is alleged to have committed the offences in the city on January 10 and 11, contacting a witness by mobile phone.
Assault trial date
A MAN accused of assaulting Damien Fisher in Soham on May 28 last year is to face trial before Ely magistrates on June 29.
Donald Cook, 47, of Market Place, Wisbech, was given conditional bail by the court on Thursday.
