THE proceeds from this year's Little Downham Organs and Bygones event were handed over to emergency medical charity Magpas this week.
The event, which has been running for more than 20 years, was held at the village hall in March and helped to raise £1,024 this year, to add to the tens of thousands raised since the event began.
Among a host of bygones displays in village hall were working carnival organs, vintage models, antique petrol cans and tobacco tins.
There were also a host of classic cars, tractors and displays of vintage farm machinery, including a rare 1960s trench rammer. There were also a handful of stationary engines, miniature steam and military vehicles on display.
Debbie Florence, fundraising manager for Magpas, said: “Thank you everyone that is involved in organising the event, to everyone that attended and to all the companies that support through sponsorship.
“Everyone at Magpas is incredibly grateful for the very generous donation again this year. We are already looking forward to 2014 event!”
