The Sutton Beast, one of the region’s most popular 10K and fun run events, will return on June 11 - and online entry for both races is already open.
‘The Beast’ is held annually in Sutton and both races involve a multi-terrain course – the Tony Robinson 10K taking runners off the edge of The Isle of Ely, out into the Fens and treading on a variety of pathways, including road, grass and fen droves.
Event organisers Martin Pickering and Stuart Green said: “Preparation is well underway and it promises to be the best yet.”
The event also features ‘The Mini Beast’ – a fun run designed with old and young alike in mind and is sponsored by ‘Treetops Soft Play’.
All entrants receive medals and 10K competitors will get a limited edition tech Beast Tee Shirt after they cross the line.
The MC for the event is ITV News’s Donovan Blake.
