The busy A1123 has re-opened again following a two-vehicle smash this morning.
A motorist was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, after a Fiat Doblo van and a Ford Mondeo were involved in a collision shortly after 7.30am.
Cambridgeshire police said the person’s injuries were “serious but not life threatening”.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue crews were called to help free the injured person before they were handed over to ambulance crews.
The incident took place on the A1123 and the road was closed in both directions between Upware Road and the A10 for more than an hour before re-opening at about 9am.
