Keeping the ale flowing at the 5th Elysian Beer Festival was Margaret Bracewell, left, when she joined 1,153 real ale fans, who helped to make the Friday and Saturday event the best yet. During the two-day festival at Ely's Larkfields Resource Centre, more than 3,800 pints were sold. Milton Brewery's Nero Festival Special was voted top ale and beers were also on offer from the Fenland Brewery, in Little Downham, and Ely's Hereward Brewery. A barbecue and snacks, with all food locally sourced, also proved a hit with visitors.
