PUPILS at Stretham Primary School helped keep the Olympic and Paralympic spirit alive and well in the village by completing their very own mural.
Adorning the school’s main corridor, the mural draws on some of the inspirational themes of the London games, using bright colours and plenty of Union Jacks to bring the work to life.
More than 10 children helped plan, design and paint the mural over a period of 12 months with the help of classroom assistant Kim Smith.
Head teacher Andrew Robertson said: “It certainly brightens up the corridor and serves as a reminder to the pupils of all the fantastic things that took place at the games.”
