EXCITEMENT hit fever-pitch at King’s Junior School this week as pupils and staff came together to show their Olympic spirit ahead of the opening of the London Games.
More than 250 pupils each arrived at school adorned in the distinctive colours of their respective houses to form part of the five Olympic rings, with staff making up the black ring.
The rings were carefully laid out by school ground staff and the lawn immaculately prepared for the feat.
Andrew Marshall, deputy head, said: “This was a wonderful feel-good exercise, bringing both pupils and staff together to show our excitement for the Olympics.”
