SUNDAY morning's worship certainly drew us all closer to our God, as we sensed and expressed a deep appreciation and gratitude concerning all that He has done for us and the world. Prayers, praises and songs were offered by the assembled saints as Susan Greydanus led the first part of the meeting. Pastor Patrick Brandon spoke on prayer and the wonder of it. This led to a time of prayer in groups, focusing on specific matters both global and local.

Monday saw the last of three recent visits to the church by local primary schools, for an educational programme arranged by Ely Museum and the Cathedral Stained Glass Museum. The subject was the World War Two evacuation to this area of large numbers of school children from the east end of London, in particular from the Jewish Free School in Spittalfield.

Sunday service is at 10.30am (including Holy Communion). The speaker will be Irene Lipson. The Pastor will be speaking at a sister church in Darwen). All are welcome.
