THE last Sunday service of 2006 included many prayers of thanksgiving, particularly for God's faithfulness. A Scripture was shared, which turned out to be very significant in connection with the sermon yet to be preached, and was understood to contain a prophetic message for us.
A time of discussion followed, in which we considered what we were to do as a Church, remembering that the earlier reading had included God's question to Elijah, 'what are you doing here?'
