DURING the worship on Sunday morning, we had a strong sense that God was exhorting us to be more willing to step out in faith: even when we are not quite sure what it is He is asking us to do, we should 'volunteer' with the same kind of eager readiness young children exhibit when their teacher asks for a volunteer for an unspecified job! The Pastor's address - 'knowing Jesus intimately'? - was an encouragement to us all. He looked at what the Bible teaches us about this.
Sunday service is at 10.30am (including Holy Communion). The speaker will be Liz Brandon. Crèche and Sunday School will be available. All are welcome.
