SUNDAY'S service began to focus on the concept of the world-wide church being one body. This was the central consideration during our celebration of Holy Communion. Simon and Nally Payne brought an excellent presentation on the church's evangelism activities over the past year and more, looking ahead to future developments in this. The pastor also talked briefly about his recent trip to Zimbabwe. He will speak more on this next time.

Sunday service: 10.30am. The pastor will speak on 'the presence of God, the authority of the church'. Crèche and Sunday School will be available. All are welcome.

On Saturday, a seminar takes place at the church under the auspices of the Messianic (Christian) Educational Trust, entitled 'Israel, my chosen'. The speaker, Stuart Cohen, a Messianic believer and an evangelist with CMJ, often works among Israeli tourists and those affected by New Age culture. He will share his experiences, as well as speaking about the autumn festivals and how they reveal God's plan of salvation.

Hot and cold drinks will be available and the church building will remain open during the lunch break for those wishing to bring a packed lunch and eat it there. While no charge is made, an offering will be received during each session to bless the speaker and to cover expenses. Books and other resources related to Jewish roots will be available.
