ALTHOUGH Christmas is almost upon us, during Sunday's service we found ourselves thinking a good deal about the Resurrection - with its implications not only concerning the forgiveness of sin but also the power of the spirit who raised Christ from the dead being within us. Our speaker was Anne Lincoln, from a sister church in Darwen. She also spoke at an event on Saturday evening entitled Music and Message - songs of hope for a world in crisis.

The evening included some excellent musical items: songs from Tim Frost, Matt Stubbs from as sister church in Reading, and the Jubilee Gospel Trio.

Sunday service: 10.30am. (including Holy Communion). The speaker will be Simon Payne. Crèche and Sunday School will be available. All are welcome.
