THE focus of Sunday's worship was the love of God. Holy Communion was approached with a deep sense of gratitude.
The pastor spoke of the benefits of belonging to a family of believers, tracing the background to our involvement with the Barnabas Fellowship of Churches. Many of us are going next week to the annual camp of this organisation, and will meet Christians from around Great Britain and some African nations as well.
With so many away at that event, there will not be a service at the Olive Tree on July 30. We apologise if this inconveniences or disappoints anyone. We will meet as usual on August 6.
