OUR Pentecost Sunday service was a time of anticipation and excitement, as we reflected on the celebrations of this important season, dealing as they do with the giving of the Law on Mount Sinai and the coming of the Holy Spirit in Jerusalem.
After the address linking Pentecost and evangelism, the pastor and elder prayed for and commissioned the head of evangelism in the church and the team who will be taking the gospel out into the community in the coming weeks. The children had a lesson concerning the tower of Babel.
Sunday service: 10.30am (including Holy Communion). Crèche and Sunday School will be available. All are welcome.
