WITH our young people and their leaders away at a special weekend event, we were not sure how the dynamic of our morning service on Sunday would be affected. There was, however, no shortage of life and blessing. We had many prayers, several testimonies, prophetic piano music, readings, proclamations, and a number of songs. Irene Lipson spoke about Esther, the amazing story in the Bible's book of the same name, celebrated at the Feast of Purim (March 14). She not only recounted the story but showed us clearly that many aspects of it should impact our own lives as Christians, challenging us to greater boldness for the Lord.
Sunday service: 10.30am: (including Holy Communion). Liz Brandon will speak on The One New man. Crèche and Sunday School will be available. All are welcome.
