Mothering Sunday was marked in a number of ways during our Sunday service. The young people handed out flowers to all the ladies present. During Holy Communion, Susan Greydanus sung a modern setting of a great old hymn about the salvation offered in Jesus. Our speaker was Canon Alan Hargrave, from Ely Cathedral. He spoke on four central doctrines that unite Christians around the world - the Trinity, the Incarnation, the Passion and the Resurrection. He spoke with honesty, humour and passion.
Sunday service: 10.30 a.m. The speaker will be Pastor Patrick Brandon. Crèche and Sunday School will be available. All are welcome.
