THE most striking feature of Sunday's service was the strong sense that we were being warned against self-reliance. Do we ever question God's wisdom or plans, thinking we know better, or that we can do things without Him? As we celebrated Holy Communion, we brought this matter before the Lord and renewed our commitment to trust Him alone. The pastor taught from the book of Jonah, showing how, in a strange way, it relates to Ely and our mission here.

Sunday service: 10.30am - the speaker will be Tim Frost, as the pastor is preaching at the cathedral. Crèche and Sunday School will be provided. All are welcome.
