DURING Sunday morning's service, three people came into membership - which is always an encouragement to us. One of them shared her testimony beforehand. Holy Communion followed. Pastor Patrick Brandon spoke on justification and reconciliation, showing how we need to grasp and appreciate both, maintaining a balanced view of life.

After the service, lunch was served: this was to raise funds to help our young people as they go next weekend to a youth event run by the Barnabas Fellowship of Churches, of which we are a part. Neil Garratt, who leads the youth work in this organisation, spoke during the lunch about the weekend and plans for the future. We then prayed over our young people and those taking them away next Friday.

Sunday service: 10.30am - Irene Lipson will be speaking about Esther (as the Feast of Purim follows not many days afterwards). Crèche and Sunday School will be available. All are welcome.

The following Sunday the speaker will be Tim Frost.
