Children experienced a taste of Victoriana at Burwell Museum last week.
On Thursday afternoon, a replica Victorian Classroom opened its doors with Terry Storey as teacher and Miss Betson as his assistant. They were also shown a Penny Farthing bicycle. The event was part of Burwell Museum's summer hands-on activities for children, which take place very Thursday at 2pm until August 30. Admission is free.
Our left picture shows Nancy, from Newmarket, receiving expert tuition from Mr Storey as Miss Betson looks on. Above, assistant teacher Miss Betson and Terry Storey get the full attention of their pupils.
