Marjorie Alma Fletcher of Cambridge Road, Ely, died on December 27 at Addenbrooke's Hospital, aged 84.
She was born in Godmanchester, before her marriage, Marjorie was a trainee teacher and then worked at Huntingdon County Council offices. During World War Two she worked at the Food Office giving out ration books.
Marjorie married Vic Fletcher on July 5, 1952, he died in 1982.
Her hobbies included swimming and walking and she loved spending time with her family and enjoyed gardening, crosswords, puzzles, quizzes and reading.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters Gillian and Jacqueline and her grandson Ian.
The funeral will take place on Friday at Cambridge City Crematorium at 3.15 p.m.
