GLADYS Reed of Station Road in Soham died on December 20, aged 98
She was born in Isleham and was a school teacher until she later married. Gladys was a keen member of the Pound Lane Free Church in Isleham. She was also a founder member of the Isleham Evergreen Club.
She married Ben Cornwall in 1935 and was with him until he died in 1967. In 1969 she married Frank Reed and they were together until 1974.
She leaves two daughters, Chris Nash who lives in Colchester and Jenny Flatt, from Isleham.
There are also four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral took place at the Pound Lane Free Church and the service was conducted by pastor Dave Hall.
