This is how not to carry a passenger safely.
When police pulled over this car on the A10 near Downham Market, they found a man riding in the boot.
Maybe all the other seats inside the white hatchback were already taken.
But officers tweeted: “Stop check #A10 #downham shows how not to carry your passengers! Risk of serious injury in the event of a collision. Driver reported.” With no seat belt - let alone a seat - the man could have been seriously hurt if the vehicle was involved in an accident.
Having a passenger in the boot is also an offence which can cost you a £60 fine and three points on your licence.
