A TOMBOLA to win a washing machine and raise funds for the Nicole Wilson Trust was held last week.
The washing machine was donated by Brian Lely Domestic Repairs of Little Downham and 500 tickets at 2 each were sold. Nicole selected the winning ticket at random last Friday (5). The winner was Mr Deverson of Ely.
More than 1,000 was raised by the event and Nicole's mother Bev Wilson wanted to thank everyone who donated money over and above the cost of the ticket and especially Brian Lely for donating the prize. Nicole, from Sutton, was left disabled after contracting meningitis on holiday.
