CRACKING down on anti-social behaviour and reducing crime are the priorities of Ely’s new sector inspector Robin Sissons.
Inspector Sissons, who has been an officer for 15 years, officially settled into his new post on Monday taking over from outgoing inspector Andy Bartlett who was in the role for almost 18 months.
Insp Sissons started his career in Hertfordshire, working in the drugs squad before moving to join Cambridgeshire Constabulary in 1998, during which time he has worked as a reactive officer and a community beat manager in Wisbech.
He has already occupied similar posts in March and Wisebch and more recently ran the Crime Incident Management Unit, based in Cambridge.
Inspector Sissons said: “I am extremely pleased to be working in Ely and look forward to meeting with the local community and dealing with the issues facing them.”
